TEAM GOLD !!!

In the final event of the day the open free combo team swam a faultless routine and go home with a GOLD medal for their efforts, finishing well above silver medalists Rugby, and bronze medalists Trafford.

This is the second team gold for the City of Leeds, and we to go back to 2009 for the 13/14 year team triumph in Scotland. With a strong squad more to follow.

Finally a special mention to Ashleigh Rowland. In her final swim for the club she wins Gold. We have all enjoyed her solos and duets over the years and they will be missed - but a memorable last appearance for the club and hopefully one she won't forget not to mention receiving a fitting send off from those present.
